GILDAS, the "Grenoble Image and Line Data Analysis Software", is a collection of software developped by the Observatoire de Grenoble and IRAM, oriented towards radioastronomy applications.

The following documents are useful for application programmers within the GILDAS software, and for general users willing to insert new tasks in this framework GILDAS is freely available to non-profit institutes on an "as-is" basis. Source code and Makefiles to rebuild the software is available for several types of computers through anonymous ftp on, directory dist/soft. The documentations are included with the software.

The documentations are also available as PostScript files on the Web. They can also be retrieved from anonymous ftp on, directory dist/doc/ps, or in compressed version (produced by the Unix compress command) in directory dist/doc/comp.
