DC-coupled phase drift performance :

Locked on the 10 MHz house BVA .
Carrier freq  is 820 MHz , RF level is -4dBm

(calibration steps are 1 deg wide). After thermal stabilisation is reached.

Fig. 2 :  Phase drift after  a (quite severe) thermal change  caused by deliberate obstruction of the air inlets of the generator
by an  A4 paper sheet, for 20 seconds. Same scale as above.

Fig 3:  Close  to carrier noise is limited by the Spectrum Analyser floor.
