The workshop group deals with and follows the external manufacturers of all constructions and assemblies for the PdB. In collaboration with the IRAM microwave engineers, the design office carries out studies of mechanical parts of mixers, couplers, transitions, backshorts, mirrors, horns, supports for the receivers, in frequencies from 70 to 370 GHz. The workshop produces all the microwave parts and the electroforming lab. all the horns and transitions for IRAM's need.
