NIC Software

Users of NIC, the continuum data reduction package for the MPIfR bolometers at the 30m telescope, must plan to use the latest release (FEB98) in view of some innovative change in the calibration procedure. Though most of the changes are in the pipeline, we are quite confident to release the software right in time for the beginning of the 1998 observing period.

For observers who would like to use NIC to reduce continuum data obtained with SHARC, the Submillimeter High Angular Resolution Camera installed at the Caltech Submillimeter Observatory, we provide a tool for the conversion of SHARC data to the format currently accepted by NIC.
