Inauguration Day of the 1st NOEMA Antenna

Monday, September 22, 2014 at the IRAM Headquarters (Saint-Martin d'Hères, France)

The official inauguration of the first antenna of NOEMA, one of the biggest astronomical research projects in Europe took place on September 22, 2014 at the Plateau de Bure and the IRAM Headquarters in presence of:

  • Mrs Susanne Wasum-Rainer, Ambassadress of the Federal Republic of Germany
  • Mrs Elisabeth Vergès, Scientific Director at the French Ministry for National Education, Higher Education and Research
  • Mr. Klaus Ranner, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany
  • Mrs Pascale Delecluse, Director of INSU
  • Mr. Martin Stratmann, President of the Max Planck Society
  • Mr. Michel Issindou, Member of French Parliament
  • Mr. Eric Piolle, First Mayor of Grenoble
  • Mr. Patrick Lévy, President of the University Joseph Fourier
  • Mr. Jesus Gomez-Gonzalez, Deputy Director of the Spanish IGN
  • Mr. David Queiros, Mayor of Saint Martin d'Hères
