As of 1st of April 2013, the new director of IRAM, Karl-Friedrich Schuster, and the new IRAM deputy director Frédéric Gueth have started their duties.
Both are looking forward to pursue, together with the IRAM staff and the IRAM partner organizations, the highly successful path of IRAM. With the upcoming ambitious and exciting projects, NOEMA and the advanced instrumentation program for the 30m antenna, there is ample perspective for IRAM to maintain a leading role in millimeter wave astronomy and to continue full dedication to serve the IRAM science community.
